
1/2 lb sweet Italian sausage
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 can tomatoes (14 oz)
1 cup red wine
2 tspn. prepared pesto
1 pkg. pasta (10 oz), cooked according to package directions
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
1. In a large nonstick skillet, cook and stir sausage and mushrooms over medium-high heat for 5 minutes.
2. Add tomatoes, wine and pesto, stir. Reduce heat to medium-low, simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Gently stir pasta into skillet, or serve sauce over pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Never thought to put this type sausage with pasta I like what I see. Good Lookin.
